You Paint It, We Glaze It, It`s As Easy As That!

About Us

baby prints

So you think you can’t paint? We beg to differ. You’ll never know if you never try and you just might discover a talent you didn’t know you had!  Pottery painting is so easy, you'll wonder why you took so long to try it.

We make the pottery, you choose your piece and paint it.  We'll give you as much or as little assistance as you want, then you leave your masterpiece with us for a week and we glaze and fire it for you*.  All this is done on the premises by Ann and Tracy, so there is no chance of your work going astray.

Come along and be amazed at what you can achieve.  You will be hooked once you see how fantastic your work looks once it has been glazed and fired in our kiln.

We have an enormous range of ceramic items for you to choose from - most of them are made by us on site.  Whether your taste is a simple mug or plate, or a more ornate decorative piece, we will have something that will appeal to you.

Our prices start from as little as £6.00, which includes the use of as many brushes and paints as you need, standard glazing and firing of your piece, as well as any help you may need to get your work “just right”. Unlike many other ceramics studios, we do not charge a studio fee. The price you see, is the price you pay.

We always have a selection ready for special days such as Valentine’s, Mother’s/Father’s day, Easter, Halloween and of course, Christmas. (we are famous for our Christmas Tree lamps) and we run workshops during every school holiday except Christmas. See our WORKSHOPS & CLUBS page for full listings.

So, come along and spend a relaxing hour or two with us in our bright and cheerful conservatory studio; enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee or squash for the children, and indulge yourself with some me-time. It’s a rare commodity, so you need to spend it wisely.

No previous experience is required.

*Pottery by nature is fragile and occasionally pieces will crack or break during the firing process.  Should this occur, we are happy to offer a credit note to the value of the piece, but this is the extent of our responsibility.
